Wool Roving Angels

Wool Roving Angels add a little bit of country charm to Christmas

Absolutely unique, each one 11 to 12 inches high,
each one hand made by Jean with care,

......Each Angel is holding something special. A small basket of homespun yarns, a small stuffed crocheted animal, a bouquet of dried flowers, wheat and native grasses, faux evergreens and a trinket.

......We make the wooden baskets ourselves, and Tracy scrollsaws the Angora Goat figure attached to the front (some other animals are available including a scrollcut Llama). The tiny Niddy Noddy (that we make) is wound with Jean's homespun yarn.

......The dried flowers, wheat and native grasses that one of the Angels holds has been collected from our farm.

...... Each Angel is made from our wool, the roving is commercially prepared- I can not make it as thick, narrow and dense, by hand. Their hair is natural colored Navajo-Churro wool.

......Every Angel wears a colorful hand made apron of traditional country, Christmas or Victorian Christmas design.
